First of all I will thank the persons whom donated their (no more use for it) fridges to the club. They are cleaned and stored for the next outside event. Thanks heaps.
It is because of the great interest of the members that the Rembrandt Club is going strong. We have a fantastic group of members that put in an important part every week or month or whenever needed.
     This magazine for instance is put together with help from members, all participating in their way. Never think that I make up all the jokes myself. No such thing, but I am the one that ‘puts them in the magazine’. With the help of the internet I gather them together and make them fit on the pages. Important items first. That’s why the jokes are always in the second half of the magazine. If ever you have something original to make people laugh email it to me.                      Thanks for all those emails of funny bits.
     The labels are always looked after by a very efficient person and it surely saves a few people from getting hand cramps writing all the envelopes.
     The Birthdays are also sorted out and if there is sometimes a mistake in years, it is to keep you all alert….
     The copying is a job and a half and sometimes the machine gives in or runs out of toner and so we are completely stuffed. Thanks to the copy machine mechanic who always is on standby the problem can be fixed. That’s why we always have a coffee ready for him.
     The boring job of folding the magazines and trying to shove them in an envelope without ripping the envelope apart, now that is a fiddly bit and most people like to stay away from it.  ..
 
The Indonesian night is happening this month. There will be Indonesian food on the menu as well as most of the usual dishes.

The shop is getting new stock every week now. Still some items we have not been able to get since last year. Some items, almost out of date have been priced down and sold within minutes. This way the shelves always have fresh stock Well, we do our best to please all.
