My call for baby seats and cot was very successful. Thank you everyone that took the effort to organise one for me. The one time that I placed a few words on the notice board for Wolfgang who was in need of egg cartons was fantastic and he has to tell his chicken to ‘hurry up’ to fill all the cartons that are still coming in. That is what you call great recycling. My next call is for cellophane paper and anything to decorate baskets and gifts with. Last year for the festival we run out, I had used up all my own cellophane and still was short, so I had to buy it from the nearest newsagent. I figure if it is mentioned now there will be plenty for the Christmas raffle and the Festival in March.
The used shopping bags are still very welcome so keep them coming. I have to ask however to make sure they are clean. Sometimes we do see that they have been used for vegies, and we can smell it too. Some of our members do not just empty them but also fold them and pack them neatly for us. They deserve a Hip Hip Hooray for doing that. See you in the kitchen Mia Joosten I LOVE COOKING WITH WINE Sometimes I even put it in the food
