Thank You to all the persons who baked the cakes for the festival weekend. The coffee stall was a big success thanks to your effort. ‘De cake ging erin als koek’ - - - - - - - - - - Many different comments were made and overheard. All good ones!!! We really enjoyed the Dutch festival on Saturday. Hope you made a lot of money out of it. We all thought the music was particularly good too.
I live just up the road and discovered this great event. I missed the other years, but will be back with all my friends to enjoy from now on.

Next year we’ll park at the station and catch the free shuttle. We walked 1 km from where our car is parked. Hard to find a spot, but was worth it.
Due to moving into a retirement village we have a wooden 2 door, 4 drawers wardrobe (hanging space) for sale. Width: 112 cm, Height 183 cm and depth 50 cm Light stained and varnished $150 ono. As good as new 2 single beds (base on wheels and matching mattresses) Only used by visitors when staying over for the night. $100 each or 2 for $150. The Rembrandt Family is growing Foundation member Beppie Maasland became a great- grandmother for the first time on 20 February when Georgie Rose arrived. This makes four generations for the Maasland family. Congratulations to Beppie, Oma Brigitte and mother Melissa.

The Dutch Connection of a parrot Many have visited the Rembrandt Club. And not only people but also ‘animals’. One such animal is Poly Parrot. This very popular animal looked at everything interesting that there was to see. If you would like to look at the photos taken while Poly was visiting, look for Poly Parrot on facebook. It’s a crack-up!!
The Rembrandt Shop Open every Tuesday 10-4pm and Friday 11am -11pm We sell Dutch cheeses and fish. Biscuits galore, speculaas-brokken and –dolls, ‘gevulde speculaas’ ‘bitterkoekjes’ ‘amsterdammertjes’ peanut biscuits, ‘kletskoppen’ sirup wafers & delft blue tins, almond fingers, coconut tarts, rings, macaroons and the ones with chocolate, sprits, beschuiten, licorice, marzipan, peppermint, zuurstokken & dropstokken, salmiak lollypops, wooden clogs & slipper clogs, tea towels (droogdoeken), dish brushes (afwas borsteltjes), soft soap (groene zeep), ‘flesselikkers’, calendars, souvenirs, puzzle books (Dutch), cheese slicers. Tins, tubes and jars of veggies, soup, mayonnaise, mustard, piccalilli, gherkins, onions, apple and pear spread, jams, spices and sauces. For this time of the year we stocked chocolate letters, sugared fruit, poffertjes and oliebollen mix and lots of other goodies. If we haven’t got what you are looking for we will try and get it for you.
Signing of the register Some members have been somewhat slack in following the rule of registered clubs. Your membership card has to be with you at all times when entering the Rembrandt Club. Any member of the board, at any time can ask you to produce your membership card In the case of not carrying your membership card with you, you have to sign the register. Including full address. An incomplete filled out form is an offence and can occur a fine. When bringing a friend (non-member) with you to the club, this person has to sign the register, including full address. The NSW licensing board carries out regular audits at our club.

At the Rembrandt Dutch Club we now have an electric wheelchair. It is available on request for a short time. Any member who wants to make use of this offer please contact one of the board members.
